Tereza Baschová

In high school, she was passionate about two things – biology and theatre. When choosing a university, she hesitated between science and production. Biology ultimately won, and she went on to study genetics at the Faculty of Science at Charles University in Prague. After 15 years working in hospital and laboratory environments, she decided it was finally time to explore production, as theatre had always remained an important part of her life. Her first opportunity came with the project Putin’s Agents by director Petra Tejnorová and the ensemble Temporary Collective. While the ensemble was performing at Jatka78, she was offered a position as a producer there. That’s where she met the DEKKADANCERS company, with whom she has been collaborating since 2023. She is also a member of the production team for the Prague Sounds festival, and since 2025 has served as head of production for the successful production Má vlast – a co-production by the Forman Brothers’ Theatre, the Czech Philharmonic, and DEKKADANCERS, created for the Azyl78 big top.
