“It would have never crossed my mind that one day I would perform alongside dance professionals, specifically DEKKADANCERS. But it did happen when I participated in their charity performances for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). DEKKADANCERS have no borders either. They dance, sing, act and play musical instruments all at a highly professional level. Their performances thus represent a kind of total theatre. I was able to get to know the ensemble both from the inside and as a spectator and I understood why I was so fascinated by them on stage. They are a team – a team of creators who were not united by chance, but by common thinking, perception, humour and, of course, friendship, without which this would not be possible. While watching The Last Supper, I felt like I was watching a film directed by Quentin Tarantino. Stunning pace, humour, cruelty and tenderness all made this performance simply incredible.”
