🪽PREMIERE: Jonathan Livingston Seagull

After their successful Jungle Book project, DEKKADANCERS and the Czech Philharmonic are presenting another collaboration, a spoken-word dance performance about freedom and knowledge – Jonathan Livingston Seagull – based on the iconic literary work by Richard David Bach.

The best dancers of the Czech contemporary scene and leading Czech actors Jiří Lábus and Vilém Udatný will be combining their talents in the exclusive space of the Rudolfinum Ceremony Hall. The original music for the meticulous performers of the Czech Philharmonic was written by one of our most progressive composers Ivan Acher. The set was designed by the renowned designer Eva Jiřikovská. Three-time Thalia Dance winner Ondřej Vinklát directed and choreographed the production. And the spoken word accompaniment was directed by the experienced writer, director, and dramaturgist Tomáš Vondrovic.
